We are seeking customers and former customers of Buzzards Breath Check Cashing Service. If you have done business with that company or with it's principal, Mr Malone, we would like to hear from you about your experience.
Specifically, we are seeking individuals or companies with knowledge and experience with this company in the following areas:
**Did you write a check that the company promised to "hold" as security for advancing you the face amount of the check? ( For example, did you write a "hot check" that the company knew it could not cash for a specified period of time, but it promised to hold the check until you could make it good?)
**Were you later contacted by the Harris County District Attorney's Office because BUZZARD'S BREATH turned your check into the"Hot Check Office"?
**Did the company advance you less than the face amount of the check, and then turn the check into the District Attorney's Office for collection of the full amount? ( For example, did you write a check to the company for $5,000.00 and they gave you $4,500.00, but the company still told the District Attorney that the check was for the original amount?)
**Did you write the check and leave the date blank?
**Did you borrow money from this company and pay interest rates over 18% per year?
